Moonified

Although some articles are suggesting that the lunar effect is only a pseudo-scientific theory, I certainly have a problem falling asleep during full, or partly full moon periods. Last night was no difference so I thought, let’s make something out of it. The shots were taken with a D40 and a 70-200mm f2.8 lens using a 2X teleconverter which gave me a decent 224mm on short and 640mm on the long focal point. The time laps photos were taken on short f.p. using a time TC-80N3 timer remote controller set to take a shot every 2 minutes. The difficult part was to find the moon’s path so first trial was completely out of frame.

Duration from low to high point was only 35 minutes. camera: Canon D40; lens: Canon 70-200 L f2.8 IS + 2X converter; zoom: 230 mm 1/40, f8
